Hi, I got some Aiptasia-X to rid the LR in my DT of Aiptasia. I did add some peppermint shrimps to the tank awhile ago, and they really not making a big difference in the Aiptasia population. Is it safe to use Aiptasia-X while the peppermint shrimp are in the tank? Don't want them to die if they munch on some of the treated Aiptasia.

Aiptasia-x is basically a type of kalk slurry. It will dissipate fast once you turn on the flow in your tank and should not farm any shrimps.

As long as you don't put it directly in the shrimps eyes it should be fine ;)

I have used it for years with no ill effect!
    Go for it!

@LCornelius - I battle putting eye drops in my own eyes, so the chance of getting some in the shrimps eyes is highly unlikely. Thanks for the info.

In that case, you are safe :p

I closed my first tank down due to an aptasia outbreak! Dried all my rocks!
So you need to act fast and kill the bastards on a daily basis!

    Good lcuk!
