RSS Aiptasia Removal - What's Your Preferred Method?

    Aiptasia are a royal pain in the you-know-what. What is YOUR preferred method for fighting this scourge of the reef tank?

    Question: Ok on the Peppermint, but when the Aips is gone, what does the fly eat? Corals?

    Not there yet, too many aptasia.
    But if I reach that point, I will keep only a few (4 or 5) and sell the rest of the colony.

    Hey what worked for me was the six line wrasse..i had two peppermint shrimps but they didn't have the aptasia appetite...

    being the fact that i don't like pottering too much in my DT with my hands..and a syringe..

    you sixline ate the aptasia? Ive never heard of that

    I just use Aptasia-X nip the problem whilst its still very small....I hardly ever see any aptasia.....they scared of me....but then again I have a very small tank....

    so far lemonjuice and boiling water
    or
    concentrate of sea salt
