did the white spot develope directly below the lights?

    do you have an urchin?

IMHO i think the cholaline is being bleached ..... has this happened only since the lights have been on for extended time?

dont stress the coraline will get used to it and come back

Agree with neil coraline is bleeched. I might be wong but the way i understand what you have written is that you only have two standard 15w energy saver bulbs in your tank this would be insufficient lighting to sustain continued coraline growth. You would need some more defined blue spectrum in your tank. Also monitor you alk ca and mg for optimum coraline growth. It is no major disaster tho

its actually a dead corral i put in hoping that corraline growth would accur on it and it might become prettier than it is already, sorry for the confusion but the lifhts are 15 watt but one is blue and the other is normal?

Ok johan, tell me are they tubes or bulbs like the energy saver bulbs you buy at spar. Sorry but i still cant understand your lighting. If they are bulbs then i would suggest you upgrade them, if not then i am sure you will be fine. I am not saying the bulbs are not going to work, just they will not be so effective in creating the right enviroment for your tank to thrive. Hope that helps.

Cool, i still dont think they will create the right spectrum for inverts to do well. Other than that what do you plan on keeping in your system.

i was just thinking of fish actually and also a shrimp and hermits and snail

I have a blue cheek goby
    banded clown fish
2 blue legged hermits, one miniature and the other biggish
and a turbo snail that looks as if it does less than nothing most of the time, other than that there are tube worms on most of the rocks

for the future im planning on a big jump from this 50 liter to a 300 liter tank with sump and a coral or two and a few fish but i'd like like 3 or 4 skunk cleaner shrimps, cause the damn intresting or mayb 2 blue cheeked goby's, or you know what, really anything that has weird habbits

Sounds cool most of what you mentioned will be fine under that lighting. You might notice a slow decline in you blue cheek goby, as they are sand sifters, in other words get lots of the food they need from your substrate. If you notice a decline then start feeding live brine shrimp, the goby will pick up allot of them while sifting you substrate. Good luck.
