I'm purchasing some livestock from a reefer, need some advice please.

Rose bubble tip anemone
Firstly, I use vortechs, should I remove the wetside covers? My params are stable, 0 nitrates 0 phosphates, only thing unstable at the mo is my calcium as I'm battling to tune the reactor in. Anything else I should be aware of?

Flame hawkfish
Concerned about my sixline, of the 11 chromis I got, 8 are left. I've read hawkfish can also be aggressive so would he handle the sixline? Will my cleaner and blood shrimp be safe with the hawkfish? (also getting peppermint shrimps at a later stage)

Thank you!

Dont remove the covers of your powerheads, the nem could wander into the prop, also nems are very delicate, are your tank perameters good enough? what lighting do you have? can you build a small tower to "mount" the nem on, this usually stops it wandering off too much.

Thanks Mike, was thinking without the covers, there is nothing they could get stuck in. If it touches the prop, then it would just move away, or would they go right in?

Params are good, besides calcium no fluctuations. 2x 250 watt MH, 4 T5's.

The rock the BTA is coming on (been on it for months) is upright so that will be perfect!

Keep the covers on, an unguarded prop could hit anything, it is reccommended that you put a fine mesh gurad on the vortech grill to stop the nem from being sucked in.

The perams look good, are they stable?
