    hi..just bought a 1.2 m display tank and sump
it has a direct overflow hole on top left corner..( plumbing fits direct into whole of display tank with plumbing running at the back of the tank and into the sump)..is this okay or should i modify it and modify it to ?

and i have a 1m sump which has 3 equaly divided divisions...is this okay ? or should i modify this for the centre division being longer for DSB ?

any contact details for who does wooden cabinets, canopies and also fits lighting on the canopy for tanks ?
(around the east rand area preferibly.and must be someone whos good at building tanks)

Does your tank have a hole on the top left and anther behind a glass on the bottom right hand corner? Take a look a mine see if it looks the same.

    nope
thx for the reply bro .

it just has a whole on the top left corner .for overflow plumbing to fit in the whole .then the plumbing runs at the back of the display tank and into the sump underneath the tank

WELCOME to MASA and to this great hobby.

Could you either post a photo, or drawing of this - just to make absolutely sure that we understand 100% before advising on this.

It sounds as if you would be able to install a Durso (Google it...), but it might just be better to build a small overflow box on the outside of the tank, with this then being plumber down to the sump... We must make sure that your tank won't drain down too far if there is a power outage, as then the sump will overflow, and flood your house.
