    Hey Guys,
After about a year of trying different methods and moving around my sump's contents
i've got to a conclusion that my sump's structure doesnt Work!
The pics attached, are of the intial plan i had for the sump,
As it stands, i have crushed liverock and bio cube reactor in the skimmer chamber,
And i've put a TS1 and Phosguard reactor in the DSB chamber,
The skimmer generates too many micro bubbles which they get directly into the main display, which i guess is one of the reasons of having algea growth in my tank,
And the live rocks in the first chamber also gets too much detritus which i causing my Phophate to go up,

I was thinking of making the inlet and the skimmer chamber as one,
and making it wider, so that i could git in the reactors and skimmer where the inlet is,
and the DBS (which is going to be narrower) i'll keep the crushed live rocks and create a sort of DSB, and add some macro algea on the top,
this way the micro bubbles get traped by algeas and liverock and they don't go directly into the main display,
    hope it make sense

    Any advice is appreciate:thumbup:

Tanx, The overflow wall into the return chamber is about 15cm lower than what you see in the photo,
i have tested the sump before, and it doesn't overflow

    Really complicated... Keep it simple..
Chamber one, skimmer and cubes (should not be in a reactor like that, unless you are oxygenating via aspiration or airstone). No rock pre skimmer as it will trap detritus.
Water then over baffle, chamber for rock sand, whatever. You can add another baffle before this, whereby water flows under, but hardly needed. Water over baffle again, into return pump, float switch and po4 media reactor. Additional chamber for RO WATER. I prefer seperate bucket, as less often needs topping up andd easier to mix kalk?

    thanks @irie ivan,
Thats what exactly i had in mind,
the reason i kept the cubes in the reactor was that the bomb method used to dispense too much bubbles in the tank,
i'm adding venturi to the reactor soon, also i wanted to have a little bit of extra flow in the sump.
i agree with the RO chamber, i was looking for a tunze atu to use the containers rather than a bucket,
i don't have kalk on the system, but i have a small kalk reactor seating around, maybe i should give it a go.

i made some changes to the Sump yesterday,
I think its much practical now than it was before,
I removed all the dividers between the inlet chamber, liverock and the skimmer chambers,
and made them one big chamber where filter sock, skimmer and all the reactor are together,
and i created a small chamber in front for liverock and macro algea,
