I have two cleaner shrimps, and a serpent star in my Boyu TL-550 (as well as some blue-legged hermits and turbo snails). Love them all to bits - no problems at all. Might need to be careful combining cleaner shrimp and pepermint shrimp - I hear they fight.

Yes, stock them first... IMO keep them for a week in your system and slowly add fish... Rember only a Nano... :p

I almost stocked my nano like i did with my 1.2

hehe thats the thing with marines... But ill give you 2months, then the bug will bite for bigger tank or it did already....:p

I was the same, the cycle took so long that 4 weeks that it felt like 4 years... Went to the LFS and just stare at the marines and wishing for the time just to pass...

Look around for bloched nerite snails they live for years and years and really help keep the glass and substrate clean. A few hermits would be advisable too.

Guys be careful with the Seastars, you should get away with 1 x brittle star in a nano.

But no other species, they will die :nono:
