is it possible that additives for corals even dosed according to instructions and even at lower levels effect the health of fish in any way?

I would say this is extremely unlikely. We use additives to replace what has been used in order to get the levels back to NSW levels as far as possible.

There may be people using experimental type additives/dosing regimens (eg. using specific compounds to enhance colours of corals) that may possibly have an effect on other livestock but I am sure most of the commercial additives are quite safe.

Mekaeel, would you care to mention the ingredient please, in case it's something we should all know about.
