    Hi guys,

My Polario is just not creating the correct flow pattern in my corner tank (due to the design) and unless i put it right in front viewing pane I cant really fix this. Also cant do much to the scaping as a lot of softies are already attached :p

    So here are my options:

    1. Install a CLS , using an external recirculating pump...was looking at the RO Blaster Series (hell of a shlep)
    2. Bouyo WM 3 - Gives me 4 pumps, thus more options (bit worried about backup)
    3. Install 2 Resun 15 000

Any ideas , thoughts , comments

frans of the three options a CLS sounds the best and is what i would look at doing. I cant recall that tank on its own, but i guess the front pannel is its main or only viewing pannel? If so then having as little internal pumps as you can would make sence, it would be the most visually applealing and with a CLS you could look at nennies and the like with greater confidence.

I hear you about it beinga schlep, but i think it would be the best.
Otherwise i would go with the wave makers, but you definaley want what even pumps you use to be on a controller.

Perhaps you could remove a little of the reef or open the spacing between the LR so that you get better through flow?

Thanks Crispin, yes the "front of the triangle " is the main viewing section on the tank so CLS is probably the best option.....But maybe you are right, should maybe look at opening up the reef a bit. Thanks for the adsvice

See Frans; Crispin also says what I thought... Great minds think alike Crispin!!! ;)

We can chat about it a bit, and investigate the options... How far do you stay from the venue where we at tomorrow? Maybe I could quickly pop in early the morning to have a look at your setup quickly, then we can warp our heads around it while tanning a steak? :whistling:

What about putting an 90 degree elbow on one side of the Polario? and then position the Polario into the back corner so that one end points down one back glass and the other with elbow down the other back glass.

Cheap test. If it works, you saved some R. If not, then I would just add 2 SunSun's with the Polario.

'linear, directional, left to right up and down,...' and youd probably still have that all linear and not chaotic

Thanks again Riaan...FINALLY added 2 X 45 deg bends made a hell of a difference ! I am going to play with configurations ie 1 x 45 + strainer etc etc to see what happens

Think I will patent this and sell back to polario :)

Special adaptor? Did you cut a 90 in half?

I'm glad my suggestion helped you out. What is your next question. And not sump related.:)

WOW George, thanks for the awesome service & advice. I am VERY impressed with these pumps. The might not have the "power" (L/h) as the polario but they create awsome flow patterns.

No just to get the programming spot on
