Hi, would like to add a blennie to my 130 litre nano, any suggestions on which one and where I could get one. Have not seen at LFS. Thanks

you cant go wrong with a blenny, i had a bi-colour for 3 years and he even liked to watch tv, just make sure he has a spot to hide in where he can jus poke his head out :)
Personal choice for me is the bi colour cus the lawnmower looks a bit like a klipvis

The yellow midas Blenny also adds a lot of color to a system and is out and about alot.(All those I have seen anyway, as well as the one I had)

I love the midas for their personalities, their color stands out, and not as much in hiding. Although they are SLIGHTLY bigger in length, their girth is not that much different. But yes, they are my favorite blenny...

I think blennies like to fight each other unless the tank is huge or you have a mating pair

I have a lawnmower and a Midas in my tank and there has never been a problem (in fact they were both in my old Boyu too). I would say the lawnmower has more character (a bit) but the Midas coloring really stands out.

It is all about the area they occupy.
The midas / tailspot share mid-water column space and might thus have issues with each other, whilst the lawnmower is a substrate dweller. The lawnmower will also have hassles with the rock skippers if the system is too small.

congrats, thats my first choice of almost any fish into any tank :) try give it some holes in the rock work to retreat into and when you see 'kiss marks' on the inside of the aquarium its from him cleaning the glass for you. Great fish to have:)

how about a pic of yours:)

He's still a bit shy, and difficult to spot - will see tonight if I can take a pic.
