Ok what I want to do is add a DSB with different algae growing on top of that.

    My tank is 1.8m X 0.6m X0.6m. tank I want to add is 1M X 0.6X X 0.6m .

I want to use play sand and make it 15cm deep. Then grow culiptra and Cheeto ext on that.

Maybe put seahorses in there once there is n million pots in.

Know can I just add this or will the dsb go true a cycle and make problems?:whistling:

Tank is in my system it is just used as a nennie tank @ the moment.(want to change to making it more of a filter using dsb and algae)

    Any suggestions?

You can add the DSB, just make sure you SUPER Wash the playsand. When you think its clean enough was it a few more times.

The DSB will do nothing until it has been populated, so technically you cant get a cycle from adding sand, only is there is dead matter in the sand that decays will there be a cycle.
