Acropora and Wavemakers

Thank you for all the feedback. I added another power-head and I have about x 53 now. Did some CFD simulations as well and the flow is looking good! Except for the flow in the powerhead nozzles, the velocities are from 0.1 to 0.3 m/s.


How the *beep* do you do this? What software is this? hehehe Well done!
 
I know you can do CFD simulations with Solid works and Autodesk inventor.
This dude must be and engineer or a draughtsperson.
I have Inventor Professional at work..... Must maybe try it on my tank

If you're using Linux, you can download OpenFOAM for this. works great and easy to use. can also work out aerodynamics. Open source as usual. Gotta love Linux:thumbup:

Yea, have used it in Ubuntu, a bit difficult when it comes to modelling and meshing, reminds of fluent when they started
