Hello everyone, I am a new member of the forum. I live in Italy (Sicily, proud to be Sicilian) I have a reef aquarium 75 g, but I'm building a new aquarium of about 130 g + 30 g sump.
I want to use only dry rock, and use the ZEOvit I use currently.
however, I wanted to send a greeting to everyone and hope to stay well in this forum and get some advice from you who are more experienced. thanks in advance

Hello and Welcome here on our forum Gaetano.

You have one of the best European aquariums in Genova Italy. Ever been there?

seank sorry if I make mistakes in writing or translation from English, but my English has memories of school, so I'll help with the google translator, sometimes the translations are not entirely accurate, no doubt I it seems logical that the questions and the answers must be in English being an international forum.

    thanks to all guys.
next week I deliver the new tank (500 liters)
Now I'm building the aquascape, only dry rock
the aquascape consists of three atolls and some shelter for the fish and something else that I'm still studying.
I want to put 3 cm of coral sand 2/3 mm 2 mm mixed with zeolite.
pumps with 2 tunze 6095 controller (maybe I'll put other 2 a little smaller)
the skimmer is a lgm Aquariums (lgs1260) for tanks of 1000/1500 lt, a little big, but for the ZEOvit should be good
    led lamp from 350w diy,
    reactor zeolite
Aquatronica controller (ph / temperature / salinity / redox /)
    return pump 5000 liters
    sump from 96 lt.
question: the dry rock as I keep them in reverse osmosis water before putting them in the tank?

welcome to masa its great to have you here.

that sounds like a lovely upgrade u are doing, always exciting to kick a new tank into life:)
@nemosjanitor should be able to give you good advice on curing dry rock and the processes around it.

seeing as you are going with a zeo system, do you intend to have the tank sps dominated?

i assume that big fat emperor angel in your avatar is yours, is it reef safe? no eating of corals and clams?

I hope you have sps corals, lps, soft corals and some fish,
is the emperor is not mine, but I'll put it in the new tank,
right now I only lps and already begins to pinched.
I also have a centropige bicolor, and he will not be part of the new tank,
the only fish a little larger that remain are a hepatus, a Zebrasoma flavescens, and a nose lituratus, after which all small fish and not very aggressive.
