I was not to sure where to put this thread, but I had to share and hopefully put a smile on some faces - it being Friday and all...

So I got a Boyu TL550 earlier this week from Zombie_CT :slayer: and then passed my little Jebo R338 on to JsREEFn's little girl for her Nemo birthday project.

In the mean time while I was busy sorting out the 550, I housed my LR, two clowns, cleaner shrimp and porcelein crap in one of those 70L plastic Roughtote containers with a heater and airstone. Being the noob and extremely worried that I might be doing something wrong - I was very worried about them being without proper filtration for the last two days. Then... last night when I did a final check before bedtime - the worst happened - my crap was dead. With a very heavy hart I took him out and got rid of the effidence before my wife notice the illegal purchase died.

After some furious reading on the internet to make sure it didn't starve to death, I was none the wiser as to the demise of the poor fellow and I finally gave up looking for possible causes and concluded that it could only be due to the inadequate interim housing ...

This morning...I lifted the lid for a paranoid inspection and seriously got a mini-stroke. There, with absolutely no concern whatsoever, mister craps' ghost was sitting on a piece of LR. After brief, guilt filled, fantasy flashes of retribution, because of the way I disposed its body ( I'll never throw it down the street again), I realised that the crap had shed its shell and that was the "body" I found...

I should be ok in a day or two and fully recover form this ordeal.

Crap= Crap, a slang word for feces, also used to describe something substandard

Crab= A crab is a water-dwelling creature, a decapod crustacean of the infraorder Brachyura.

I just love how two Afrikaans-speaking people would chat away in English for months, never realizing that both are actually Afrikaans...

And must admit, sometimes the worst spelling / grammar mistakes are made by native English speakers...:whistling:

Eish... English are corrupting our minds... along with the internet of course...:)

Ai - the crap-spelling was intentional - I tried to be funny - sort of like referring to the crab as the little sh*t , but boy..that so didn't work out...
