    Hi all

Im a bit confused about the Red sea Kh test kit.
It is the standard one not the pro kit.

It say this in the book.
After adding one drop of the indicator the water will obtain the titration "start" colour as indicated on the instruction card (blue).
Continue adding one drop at a time until the colour of the sample in the vile matches the corresponding "end" colour as shown on the instruction card (Green).
Each drop of the indicator correspond to 1dkh.

Now whats confusing me is this.
Do I count the first drop or not?
If I count the first drop my kh would be 9 if not it would be 8.

Id say count the first drop.
KH of 8 or 9 is fine, most important thing about KH is keeping it stable.

    Thanks David.
I was also thinking that just wanted a second opinion.
The only problem is sometimes my KH drops a bit low and if I am thinking its 1 higher all the time my sps are going to suffer. I suppose the solution is keep it slightly above 9.
