Does anyone know where I can get 8W T5 ballasts? I think they are normally used for UV lights.

Alternatively, does any electrical guru know if I could connect 3 8W to a 24W ballast? If so, how?

    Thanks

Try an electrical outlet. You may have to settle for a 10W one though.

I have tried, believe me. Every elect. shop looks at me funny. It is widely used with UV lamps yet cannot get them seperately.

Can I use 3 lamps on one 24W ballast?

And is 10W ok to use? Will probably shorten the lamp's life span hey?
