I have no experience with this skimmer but to be honest I wouldn't go for it. There is a reason it is cheap.

@ Manic; my total system is 500L, I did not do my home work and build my sump 900 x 400 x 400, got a TS1 skimmer but want to upgrade to a TS2 skimmer, but that means I need to build a new sump... was thinking of running the TS1 with this 760Litres Weipro extra....:whistling:

The reason it is cheap... there is no pump, got a spare 3500l/h pump to use with...

Maybe try a bubble magnus NAC7 or the Reef Octopus Extreme 160. The bubble magnus has the pump inside the skimmer and the Extreme 160 has it under the skimmer. They both have small foot prints.

Can't remember prices now but I think the NAC 7 was about R1800 and the Extreme 160 R2700.

TS1 or TS2 won't work really well in a 500L tank, assuming you will have a fair amount of fish.

I do not know that skimmer.

What is the size of your skimmer chamber?

some of the new skimmers where the pump sits below the skimmer is awesome.

that was one of my first skimmers, and too be honest, you wasting your money if you buy it. It is impossible to adjust between wet and dry, it either skims nothing, or floods, it sits very high, I had SRO BB 5000 that fitted under my tank, the weipro it couldn't.

I think the main problem was it pumps only water in from the pump, and the flow of water is supposed to draw in the air, but it is bad. If you really wanted it, then I would suggest modifying it so that it has a pump that pumps air and water in, then I am sure it would be much better.
