Hi guys I have had a Boyu TL550 since the beginning of the year but I want to upgrade. There is this tank available in starphire glass with the pluming, over flow, cabinet and sump included. Here is a pic. Excluding the LED unit. Do you think that this is a good upgrade or should I go bigger. Also what do you think I should pay for a setup like this? Thanks

OK thanks because the guy wants R4200 for it. Do you think this a good buy or should I consider like a 4ft tank?

R4200 for that is actually not a bad price at all - Jungle had the same on special this weekend at R5000.

But taz is correct - if you upgrading - then upgrade properly. We all always wanna go bigger and this 60 cube is not that much bigger then the TL550

Yeah that's what I'm thinking because in a few months I will want to upgrade again. I'm not sure. I have been very happy with me TL 550 but I want something with more space so that I am not limited and I want to upgrade to LED

Upgrading to LEDs get very expensive very quickly when you go to a big tank and if you go for the higher end units. Just take that into consideration.

The LED are very expensive especially on a 4ft because won't I need two. With this cube I will be able to have one unit. Also how much would I be looking at for the rest of the equipment to finish off this cube. Example the Skimmer and return pump. I have never had a tank with a sump and it all seems very confusing to be honest.

    Speak to Fuzzy from Aquahadia

He got a similar size cube for a very competitive price. Although not starfire glass. But starfire only makes a real difference from 16mm and above.
