    Howsit,
So my mates have convinced me to start a thread about my tank, I'm more into reading about everyone else's tanks..hahahaha

Anyway, its a fairly new setup...the rock was transfered from another tank of mine and 50% of the water as well so it was pretty much all cycled when I made the change to the new tank which was nice.

    Here's a couple of pics[IMG][IMG][IMG]

Wow, that looks great, going to be even more amazing as you add stuff. I don't want to deflate you, just keep an eye on parameters, some people say that even when moving or disturbing your tank (moving between two tanks in your case) your tank will go through a mini cycle again. Just keep an eye out. But wish I had a tank like that!

Howsit Charl, thanks man...I'm pretty chuffed with how it has turned out, without trying it is very similar size to the redsea 130...
Ya I let it go through the mini cycle after I transferred the rock across, I left it for about a month or so...Everything has settled in and water parameters are perfect...

Rob also used Prodibio Products which are absolutely amazing... you can start a tank without cycling with that stuff from scratch.

check it out if you want a lekka healthy tank too... Prodibio

i couldnt DISAGREE more. yes dosing certain products can help a tanks ability to process Nitrogen through its cycles, but they are in no way a substitute for building up the bacterial populations of a tank so that it can maintain itself. chucking some probio products (or any make for that matter) and then dropping fish and things in to make it look pretty is NO way to start a tank. oh imho
