    hi there im new to the forum so here is a fts of my system i have at my shop in the uk.

    its a custom built deltec system . that has cost me more than i would have liked to spend . .

    its still a ongoing project . this is not the most upto date shot but is from the last 5-6 month .

    hope you enjoy .

    tank specs are l x w x h 5ft x 4 ft x 3 ft
    sump area below tank 5ft x 3 ft x 2 ft
    2nd sump in filtration room 6 ft x 2 ft x 2 ft

    lighting 2 x twin 400 arcadia series 3 halide pendents
    10 x 80w t5 tube system

    skimmer is a deltec ap1006

    uv i have a bank of 8 deltec 39w t5 uv sterilizers

    ozone generator is a sander 200

    tmc 26,000lph arganaught main drive pump

    flow pumps

    2x tunze 6305 and 2 x tunze 6205 with controller also 2 x tunze 6215 wave boxes

    secondary deltec hlp 8070s drive pump for lin to frag system

    deltec fr 1016 phosphate reactor

    deltec fp 601 calcium reactor

    merlin 350gpd ro unit

    2 x 220 ltr 1 x fresh ro 1 x pre mix salt on standby

    frag tank's 2 x 3ft by 1.5ft x 1 ft

    lighting for frag tanks are tmc aquarays mixed reef and marine blue strips

    and prob more im not thinking of ..

    Could you illaberate some more on the filtation system, also how have you found the UV filters work?

    I was about to ask what this is, but I think I remember now, is it an evaporative cooler?

    Yip, first time I see one in action.
    Saw it in the CORAL magazine a few issues back, the one about energy savings on reefs.

    Is it any good? How do you prevent the sponge to go biological. How often must you clean it? I know it is a hell lot cheaper than a chiller to run.
