Hey guys I'm building 4 tanks and 1 sump.

The dimensions of the tanks will be 600x450x450 and the water level will be at 400mm
Don't have a idee of the sump yet.

I'm using euro bracing of 590 x 0.30mm and the lengths of the tanks.

I got the glass this afternoon, and i have finished building 2 tanks and 3/4 with the 3rd one.

I'll paste pic's tomorrow, "lekker moeg nou"

    :slayer:i love diy:slayer:

Hey Lanzo looking good, just a tip for finishing use masking tap and a teaspoon give you a nice concave finish.Just remove the masking directly after silicon has been finished with the spoon. Dont be like me I left it and now I have to trim again.Sump pic top on my thread

Won't the cold affect the silicon in some way? I am not specialist - but know that sealants generally work differently in different weather conditions....

yip, i think so, but i'm going to work on the tanks again when it is a bit warmer.
Cant stand outside and freeze to death .
And i'm a bit lazy to take them down to the garage to work on them there.
