They have to be split up. Biggest will change into a female from around 10cm plus. Then all hell will break loose. She will first kill the smallest male, with the help of the "middle" one. Then she will kill the "middle" male.

I had Dusky Damsel, close relative, but behavior towards other Damsels are totally different. Basically my small Yellow Tail Blue damsel stood its ground and even chased out the big 17cm Dusky female. I also had 3. Removed the smallest when the attack started to my frag tank. Then she killed the other one. Smallest one then moved to a friends setup. I lost the female when I did a tank move (was the only casualty).

    Azure, should be fine.

The small little blue damsels, EXCEPT THE DEVIL DAMSEL, need about 30 to 40 square cm for himself. So on a 1.2, 3 to 4 can be together. Especially the small Yellow tail Blue damsel. They tend to have a territory at the bottom part of the tank. And will chase all other especially other damsel out. Not to worried about Tangs, Gobies or Blennies.

Also depending on your aquascaping. If you built two distinct islands, with two Yellow Tail Blue Damsels, each will take his own island.

My oldest fish is a Blue Yellow tail damsel.

Cool Deon07. I'll let you know as soon as I have caught one for you. It is impossible to catch them with a net, so I need to set a trap inside the tank.

    One more available guys...

Ross this wont work on a wrasse at night as they dig into the substrate, the best you can do is try see where he digs in and scoop that whole portion of sand out with a net..

i have the same wrasse luckily mines in a bucket atm..
