Hi MASA!

This is my first post here, but I have had my 3 gal pico for a few months now.

4 types of unidentified shrooms

I've really enjoyed reading about everyone's tanks on this site! You guys have some cool tanks! I like to think I've surpassed "noob" status in terms of reefkeeping, but I have certainly learned a lot from everyone on here.
 
Thank you! And yes, I do have a gha problem (I've been working on it constantly, you should've seen it a couple weeks ago. It was terrible! I have a few blue legged hermits, no phosphates, and since I added an extra 9w light fixture the growth has all but stopped.

Any suggestions?
 
You have to bring down you're phosphate levels to starve the gha of nutrients. In a pico i think dosing nopox will do the trick. Thats what i would do. Another option is running a phosphate reactor but i think thats overkill for a pico.
 
Look at @bryan's thread. He trashed his red sea max tank instore on purpose. And fixed it just by dosing nopox
