I want to go about a meter high but water only to about 700 as I really want to get some good wavemakers in it.

Damn Alfie, now this sounds good.

Lets start with glass thickness and bracing. Any idea's on how you going to do that? Are you going to build the tank yourself?

Viper, I will try I get some help with the building from Liaquat. I wil have to look at 19mm glass. Bracing I still have to come up with.

I am going to build onto the house later this year and only want 1 tank, hence looking at this.

Is it going to be built into a wall? It would be a pity if it was, I think it would be awesome if you could have 3 viewing panes

I was thinking of trying to have all 4 as viewing panels, but might be a bit impractical.

If it were me I would have the over flow in the middle of the tank and build the LR around it to cover it up.
Great idea, there is a pic somwhere, i will try to find it, the cube is much smaller but it would still work, i think Tridan built one like it

Thanks guys so we have a great start. I is it possible to have the overflow and returns in the centre, as I am looking at a 4 view panel.
