The water was dirty from the NE, and now the rivers are flooding bud, weather is bad for collecting

Lots of juvenile cleaner wrasse around.
    some real small goldies.
Seen tons of baby lunula and vagabonus flies.
Some small surgeons - convicts, blochii, nigrofuscus and a couple of see through nasos.
Plenty tiny wrasse, hard to tell what they even are.

    Hey guys

I went out to Isipingo on Saturday. Managed to pick up one Common Tang. Black in colour, with a blue ting on it's fins.

Will post a pic when I get a decent one. He moves around too fast.

Bud this is a wonderful catch and very tempting to most. However i must comment and express my disapproval of you removing a fish from our oceans without forethought as to where it will live the rest of its life.

The permit you applied for and have, i presume you have one, is meant for reef keepers to stock their tanks with fish etc, and to keep records of the goings on. Catching fish and marine life not meant for your tank is in contravention of the law. This used to be the case. Maybe @Steve Warren will know.

My point is i feel just a strongly about hobbyists catching fish without knowledge of the species or a plan to house it as wailers catching whales. It is the same as me going diving and catching a baby raggie and asking someone if they can house it.

Hope you find the grouper a suitable home and please keep us updated on it's well being.

Thanks for the heads up - i know what the law states and at present the fish is in my system. I can keep him but if someone with a 5000lt system wants him then he will be happier there.
