    Hi all :)

I bought myself a 60liter innovative marine tank with a skimmer and pellet reactor but now the skimmer is annoying me, so I would like to know if i will be able to use a hang on back skimmer or should i buy the ghost skimmer?

And then i would like to know what is the best fish and corral to start with?

Not familiar with the default skimmer. Hang on back I think could be to tall. Unless it can hang down behind the stand.

Anyway, that size tank. small clown gobies. Rainford Goby. Maybe yellow watchman goby. Maybe ocealaris clown.

If going with the small goby species. about 4 fish.

Zoas look nice and are easy to keep.
    Mushrooms are also nice:thumbup:

    Maybe 2 clownfish
    A flasher wrasse
    And one other fish

Maybe a tunze 9001 will fit in the skimmer chamber?

Ya, lawnmower blenny is fine. You will have to feed him nori if you don't have enough algae in your tank.

Cleaner shrimp are very active and have great personality. Mine used to swim upside down when he saw me.

Fire shrimp look great but they hide most of the time. In your tank, because it's small, you should see it often.

Peppermint shrimp eat aiptasia but often disappear without a trace.

I would go with cleaner shrimp. Unless you have an aiptasia problem and want peppermints to get rid of them.

Depends on which species. Dwarf hermit crabs are the ones you should buy. I prefer electric blue leg or scarlet.
Some guys have yellow tipped hermits which can be collected in KZN.

Leather corals, Green star polyps, xenia to start with.
Then you can progress to LPS when you get the feel for it. Examples of lps are brains, hammers, torches, frogspawns and candy canes.

Starting small is good. I reckon around 130-150 litres is great for starters. The stability is decent and you aren't pumping loads of $$ into it.
