Tank is looking great, how about some more specs? Lighting, skimmer, what you intend to keep, all such stuff. This could help if you could be doing something wrong then we can help.

The hermits are a bit early I would say, you should at least have waited a week. Just keep an eye on them, they should be OK they are strong little critters.

Welcome to the Forum. You sure the dimensions are right??? 0.3m- It surely looks wider than that. And the depth is a bit much if you do not have sufficient lighting

Welcome To MASA... If the size is right, then you got a nice long and wide tank which is very shallow... Nice....

welcome to masa nice to have you join.

just a few points, the confusion guys have with the tank is that 30cm is very narrow making aquascaping difficult and at 90cm deep, a relativley deep tank. Light penertration through the water will be difficult so you may have to look at getting 250W MH above the tank, depending on what you plan to keep. The tanks shape would lend itself nicely to a fish only system though.

also as you have a sump id add the heater into the sump *and best to lay it horizontal so that its always covered in water* so that its not visable in the display tank, just looks nicer.

i think its way too early too be adding live stock, even a clean up crew. let the tank settle and cycle for a few weeks first :)

Thank you crispin... the CUC doing well :yeahdude:
I actually do have a heater in the sump horizontally but its for backup. I moved my heater in the tank close to the catch chamber .

Hey guys the tank is doing well the temp is 24-25'C and the salinity is 1.023. It was 1.026-7 but I had to top up my water with RO water anyways:thumbup:

I will post pics this week still... busy building a canopy.
