Hey guys I've been searching everywhere for lighting

I need some advice on a light setup for my tank I'd like to keep a mixed reef with some sticks but mostly softies

I currently just run 2 zetlight ZP4000s that came with the tank

I was either thinking Quad ATI T5s with the ZP4000s

Any recommendations?

Tank Specs
12mm glass
Euro bracing

ZP4000 are not WoW lights... fish only they are cool. Lights for that size tank, I’d recommend something like 2x Z7300s or the new Qmaven range lights.

all depends on what you want to keep. T5 are nice. But keep in mind. New bulbs every 6 to 10 months depending on brand

Thanks for the advice. Regarding the changing of bulbs it makes sense that it costs more in the long run but I just forked out about 40k on my setup excluding lights since it's a entirely new setup so the appeal of a T5 fixture and ATI bulbs being cheaper for me to setup now and 6 months down the line upgrade or add in a LED unit sounds more doable budget wise

If you keep a close eye on MASA you can find LED lights for cheap. Todd sold 2 Z7300s’s for R8800 the other day. Unfortunately the size of your tank will not be cheap

2 x zt6600 will work well too. I have 2 on my 1.65L x 0.75H x 0.45W and don't run at full at all. I use a a100 wifi controller to keep both lights in sync with 2 3.5mm heqdphone cable to a splitter and then to the a100.

can start of with any 4 tube T5 unit. 54W should fit nicely. As mentioned, keep eye on the for sale section

Then later as your wallet stabilized then splurge out on a LED unit.
