Selling the below as my better half has over ruled me in this decision. Only 1 cam run for a day for testing before I had to box it all up.

16 Channel DVR, LAN, Internet, 3g support. Android, Blackberry, iPhone apps support. Mouse, Power included.
2x 3.6MM outdoor Camera's with night vision and SONY CCD
2x 8.0MM outdoor Camera's with night vision and SONY CCD
    4x Mounding brackets
4x UTP Balun pairs, for running any other cable than the usual required. Much easier and UTP can be up to 300m in a single length
    1x 18 Channel Power Supply

    Thats about it.
Everything is brand spanking new, still have packaging for it all. You can add an additional 12 cameras or whatever to suit your requirement. PTZ domes also supported and can be controller on the dvr via joystick or Mobile APP.

Asking R5000 just to be done with it.

Does it come with HDD or how do you record footage?
I guess it'll be good for indoors aswell???
Can you record all 4 camera's footage at the same time or do you have to pan between them?
Can you connect it to monitor?

Wanna use it in our restaurant to check stock taking and sending ext...

It will work as is but cannot record as it has no HDD to record to, it definitely supports up to 2TB models as I tested it with 2 different models.

These camera's will work inside without any hassles, they can see pretty clear at night.
You can record all 16 channels at the same time if you want to, and it connects to a screen and you can view the cameras on any amount of tablets, pcs, phones. Assuming you are connected to the same network, wifi.

I tested it over adsl so i could view it all from the office, worked ok :)

    Yes you can,

I can buy one and install/configure at only the cost of the HDD if required.

What would additional cost be if you were to install HDD?
Would i be able to connect this system to Laptop and record straight to it and view as monitor?

It depends on the price of the hard drive and how soon we can get one.

Since this is a complete DVR you cannot connect it to the laptop directly just to view live streams. You can, but its not like a printer or anything like that.
You need to connect to it via the network, and if you do plug it in via USB you can browse the internal drive for recorded footage.

Normally usage scenario's are making this device part of your network (network cable in to your modem)
    and;
having it near a desk where you can use the included mouse to manage and review recordings. I connected it to a spare 24 inch pc screen, worked like a charm :)
