K, I thought I would open this section by showing you guys what I do on saturday mornings when I'm bored...lol.

This little setup has cost me R1000 and I set it up in about an hour...hehe.

CAPACITY
----------
14.7 Liters to water level. 15.5 Liters if full.

FILTRATION
-----------
A very small AquaH2O HOB filter. It has a carban cartridge and two sponges. One sponge is for mechanical filtration and the other one I suppose is for biological as it is a very coarse sponge.

About 2KG Kenyan Live Rock.

SUBSTRATE
-----------
Coarse Aragonite.

LIGHTING
---------
One clip on light. 20W, 7200K CF. I switch it on at 7AM and switch it off at 9PM.

FLOW
-----
None...hehe. Except for the little flow from the HOB.

OTHER HARDWARE
-----------------
1 x 75W AquaH2O heater. Which I might add am not very impressed with.
1 x Digital Thermometer.

LIVESTOCK
-----------
2 X Turban Snails.

That looks great, maybe add one of the new little SEIO nano pumps, I think it would be perfect for this tank.

Viper, do you really think so? Because the reason I haven't used them yet is because I thought they would be too strong even for my 40L setup.

I would dearly love for flow pumps to come out in nano version. I mean real nano versions, not like saying it's nano streams and then it can only do like minimum 4000 L/H or something.

I think the nano SEIO's only push about 1000 l/h, very small too, smaller than the palm of your hand.

ok, maybe they a bit bigger than the palm of your hand :blushing:

Wow that's tiny. I can't believe I missed these!!!

So how would I install these? In my slightly bigger setup, would I point them towards each other from both sides of tha tank?

Hey Galibore, love that Nano tank.

Yeah those Seio's are pretty cool and do the job. Well priced too ;)

Yeah, that does seem to be popular as it gives you nice random, turbulent, but gentle, flow when the water from the 2 pumps reaches each other

Four hundred and something. Can't remember exactly. They come in two sizes, I got the smaller one. They are made by AquaH2O.

I've got a couple of them in the garage ... AquaH20 sells them here for under R300. They start from 31L and you can buy just the tank (no equipment), and then they start from about R35.

31L? Are you sure, mine is 21cm x 20cm x 35cm. If my calcs are correct, that is 14.7 liters.
