I am looking for two 12 volt pumps. One for my auto topup and one for use as an uplift pump. Any recommendations?

The 12V car boosters can be plugged into a 220V socket and thats how it charges. It has a + and - terminal where you can connect your pump to. Try Midas or Game for them.

Yup, bilge pumps work great - just make sure they don't have copper / brass bearings or screws...

Just get a good quality Bulge pump, or you will end up with a rust problem.
