so I've got an odyssey 4x t5. 2x 10k & actinic . Not the best , but at r1000, a bargain. 3 ft on 4 ft tank. Bought a strip light for R150 and installed it inside odyssea for moonlight.
Then came across LED spotlights. So put 2 X 10w led (R125each) in for a bit of extra lighting.
Can it do any harm, should I add another 2 X ?
Or maybe upgrade to 2 X 20w ?
In October I am going to USA ,( plan on picking up something there ) so just looking for a cheap upgrade to current setup till October .
Any advice greatly appreciated.

you can buy the rite led chip (15000 or 20000 or royal blue) from improvedlivingpe and change the chip inside those led light. quick and easy

yip, whatever you buy in the big USA, make sure it can handle 220/240 Volts. Unless you got a 240 to 110V transformer.

thanks for the input, I understand differant curent in USA.
I will look into changing chip in the floodlight.

Most of the nice LED's run off DC anyway, and the PSU's can normally take anything from 110v-240v AC input, but just make sure before spending.

No thank you, not for me

They are using quarter watt LEDs?!?!?
Although they got plenty of LEDs in there, I doubt is these units would really have penetration punch.

On shallow tanks these would work out nicely.
