    Notes:
    Hi.

I am selling this system - the sale will only be in 4 weeks , unless someone wants now, and the offer is reasonable..

    So here are some pics..

This tank is not drilled, and that is the main reason for selling - buyer should have it drilled and corner overflow built - should not be to much work once empty.

    Tank size is 1.5 x 600 x 800 , water level on 700 and 100 for lighting in top.

    Included in price is :
Sump and stand as in pictures
    8 x Reeftek 54w T5's : 2 x blue, 2 x atinic, 2 x 10k and 2 x 12k all with alenoid reflectors..
    4 x 54w double ballasts.

Asking price is R6500 , but negotionable..

No No, not quitting... this tank needs to be drilled somehow.. I dont have anyone that can help me..

So I have decided to have a better tank built, one that works like a marine tank should work..

Ditto on what rakabos said, just go buy a bit (builders sell them), variable speed drill and bobs your uncle...really easy, and cheaper than a whole new build

I agree with these guys... I had to build my 2nd sump and also had to drill, etc. Ask around, someone will be willing to come out and drill this for you....;)

I actualy made a post about this... got no responses, I even pm'd a couple of guys, nothing..

The new one will have a nice centre overflow, and black silicone and so on, so its ok - i'll pay the cash and get it done, and the sell of this one..

    OK, no one interrested?

I am also replacing the wave makers / vibration pumps, so the deal has changed a bit.

    Now its the :

    1 - 1.5 x 600 x 800 (water on 700) tank
    2 - 1.2 x 450 x 450 sump
3 - the metal frame, wood doors cabinet
    5 - 8 x 54w Reeftek T5's (2x atinic, 2x coral blue, 2x 10k and 2x 12k)
    6 - 4 x dual 54w BEG ballast
    7 - 2 x SunSun Vibration pumps (5000L/h)
    8 - buyo wm-4 wavemaker..

all for R6000 (gone down with R500).. Its a bargain

    Drill the thing!!!!

    it is toooooo easy...
you can buy the diamond hole saw bit from most hardware stores... if they don't know about a glass hole saw in the shop, just ask for a ceramic hole saw... it is the same thing... they cost about R250... then buy some plumbers putty... the stuff you fix toilets with... and get hold of a battery drill or a drill with variable speeds, slow is the name of the game...

There are vids on youtube on how to drill glass

Basically you gotta keep the bit wet and apply very little pressure at a low speed. My tank took about 10mins per hole and it is 10mm thick.
You can also make a jig out of wood (which i wish i had stumbled on before i had done it).
Because the hardest part is getting the cut started, as the bit wanders around until there is a descent groove.

    VIPER357 drilling

Dude that tank is sooooooper sexy and looks well made... don't toss it.

Lol, too late - already payed the new one!

Loads of guys said sell seperate, so here we go:

1 - Reeftek T5 Bulbs - Including Glass rails, Alneod reflectors and T5 Endcaps (bulbs are about 3 months old)
    1.1 - Atinic x 2 = R200
    1.2 - Coral Blue x 2 = R200
    1.3 - 10 000k x 2 = R200
    1.4 - 12 000k x 2 = R200
    2 - BEG 54w Ballasts x 4 - Each at R100
    3 - SunSun single vibration pumps 5000L/h x 2 = Each at R100
    4 - Byuo WM-4 Wavemaker - 3 weeks old = R800
    5 - Display tank 10 mm glass (1500 x 600 x 800 - 100mm on top extra)
no overflow - buyers needs to have it drilled/or drill it = R3000
    6 - Sump 1200 x 450 x 450 (with 3 compartments - skimmer compartment, big dsb compartment, return pump compartment) = R200

Who ever buys the DT gets the stand and crushed coral substrate free!
