    Thats a pity they are stunners as they get older in my books one of the best looking butterflies around.

    Viper i dont think the seio is strong enough to do that, are you sure the fish wasn't weak or dead before it got caught up.

    Head, nail, hit, Alan is spot on i reckon, i don't see a healthy fish getting sucked in to a small ph, sorry for your loss though, bloody heartbreaking innit:(

    He didn't look sick to me, was constantly swimming about the tank foraging for food, looked perfectly healthy to me.

    Oh well, at least I get to go shopping for a new fishie :D

    sorry man.i had the same experience with my clown trigger.when i bought him he was skinny with no colour and kept on getting stuck in my seios until i move him to my sump where he fed well,gained alot of weight and color.now he's in my cube.

    Oh, dude... that sucks. Sorry that happened Dean... if it's any consolation, I had this happen to a very healthy fish of mine. It was a very small onyx clown. It got sucked up into my magnum because I forgot to put the grate on the intake. I honestly didn't think he was small enough to get sucked up there like that. :(
