yip my sailfin is a brat - i don't think he actually eats them (the leathers or polyps) He is such a bossy boots. anything that looks threatening he'll bite or bash with his tail. if i put in a new rock or coral he tries to hit it with his tail. can't add any fish that look anything like a tang...

ok will start feeding my fish once a day but my sailfin tang keeps taking bites at my leather corals etc... he is driving me crazy... but i still think my nitrates are way too high and it's not from food alone

thanks for all the help so far - BTW i don't feed to regulary - 2/3 times a day and not too heavily

ok there are pics of my tank and sump so you can see how much live rock etc... let me know what you think .... should i have nitrates roblems? am i doing somwthing wrong?

Hi there i have a nitrate problem of 50ppl (the second dark red pic before the end on the sera nitrate test kit) i do a 10% water change every week. and have upped my water changes to more often to help bring it down but it doesn't seem to help. I have tried nitrate minus and it's done...

skimmers hi there plse give me more info on skimmers - R100 and R500. are they new or second hand...? for what size tank are they made for? i also stay in cape town - what area are you based as i can come collect many thanks Bernice:)
