    Reefoctopus

Thanks Tony, got that. But what I am getting at, is that different manufacturers show a calcium reactor, a kalkwasser reactor and a kalk stirrer. So I am trying to get the pea brain around the kalkwasser stirrer and kalkwasser reactor bit.

    Tank 1 - Version 5

Hi Crispin Haven't made my mind up yet as to exactly what I want yet, but probably a bit of a mixed reef. I still need a lot more experience for SPS. I am putting that decision off, because once I make that decision, it is difficult to focus on the set up. I seriously lack patience!! :peroni:

Progress ?? Well, some progress.....even though it feels incredibly slow!! Aragonite purchased ( Ouch!!), and DSB in place. A dust storm of note! Must be seeded now. Finally plumbed (permanent....not cable ties and clear tubing) the skimmer in place. Looking cool, but that may be a slightly...

Point is, one can start out very simply, and slowly build up to a really great system, as and when finances permit. A...

    Tank 1 - Version 5

Well finally I have commenced on the "latest" attempt in marine tank hobby. From the title you can gather that this has been a long and steady learning curve, and you too will notice that I am one of those characters who is never satisfied with things, and am constantly looking at ways to...
