me to as I hate seeing animals unhappy. Just hope that Bipartitus pulls through. Really have taken a likking to this species and Im contemplating setting my tank up at home to accomodate about four of them. Want to study more about them first though.Any advice would be aprciated.
Bad news and good news. I had to remove the Bipartitus Wrasse as my 6 line would not stop bullying him. He is now in a friends sump where he has burried himself in the substrate. The good news is that the Clown Surgeon and Tomini Tang have settled with each other.
Just want to find out what every ones feelings are about Scopa tangs. I have been offered one from a friend for my home tank. I dont want to take it if it will cause crap in the future
Just added a Tomini tang and a Bipartitus and my Pajama tang is showing a lot of agression towards them. Is this normal and will it subside. I added two Anthies yesterday and there was no hassle with them.
Where and why would you add a baffle in the DSB area?

This was the original sump for the tank. the previous owner kept it for his new setup.
Its a mixture of sand stone and Kenyan LR. Going to keep it BB. I have seen a few tanks like this and I like the coraline that eventually covers the bottom. The skimmer is a Macro
Algae it came with the tank. Going to upgrade it as soon as i can. It seems to be working fine for now
Yeah i want to keep it BB and the tank did come with the sump. I want to add a baffle in the DSB area. The blue drum also has a DSB in it. The tank is running a bit hot at between 28 and 29 so i will be adding a few fans. The tank at work dropped By 4 degrees by just adding a fan
I was lucky enough to recieve to pieces of Monty's when i bought my LR. I was told by many people that they would not last the cycle but 7 months down the line they are still going strong. I did have a bit of a nutrient problem from over feeding and the one did gow brown. I seem to have the...
Im glad to heat that. Like I said Im pretty much still a Newbie and the last thing I want to do is place something in an enviroment that will cause it harm or lead to its death. Thats why I would apriciate all the info and advice I can get.
1 pink birds nest;1 green birds. 2 green plating montis with purple rim and two purpl tip acro's Have arrived and I have mounted them to some LR with super glue. Just got see if they are going to be happy in my system. What must I look out for to make sure they are doing fine.
Have managed to put doors onto the metal frame. Will post pics asap. Going to fire up the attinic T5's tonight and let them run on a timer. How long should I let them run while the tank is cycling.
