If you decide to go with the artificial, I bet you that down the line you wil begin with real corals. Watch the for sale section a lot of members sell great frags at a great prices.
Take out the liverock and give it a good scrub with a nail brush. It made the world's difference.
When doing a waterchange use the old water in a bucket and dip the liverock while brushing off of the algae
Sooo.... any other pets besides your reeftank?:swim:
I have a fw planted tank outside that I just leave, its been running for 3 years now, loads of snails and cherry shrimp but no algae and maybe a small waterchange every second month.
Also have 2 beagles:thumbup1:
Awesome thank you! Looks like a beautiful fish! I will give him a try hopefully I can get one tomorrow. @Sponsors anyone in the jhb area that has stock?
Thanks for the advice. Dont think my tank is big enough for the 2 spot coris. What about the. Banana wrasse? I got a few today. On sunday will have a go at them again.
hi. Lately I have been noticing these orange/rustic red things on my liverock. And the pastweek some of my zoas has not been opening, they were swarming the zoas and about 30mins ago it clicked. I have flatworms. Did anybody have success with a banana wrasse or sixline wrasse? Dont want to try...
Hi everyone. Time for an update. Tank is doing great, looks like everything is growing. I got some cool zoa's in the week.
Also got about 4kgs of liverock. The one liverock is going to be my zoa garden. Just waiting for them to settle in and start growing.
Nenny is also doing great...
