So the day came and I aqua-scape my tank and filled it and got her running. I use all my existing live rock and water from my previous tank which was still running while I got my dream tank set up. I'm so stoked with how the aqua-scape and that turned out. Now to decide what color to paint or...
So I have been working on the tank almost every
Free moment I get. Things are taking shape slowly.
A few of my mad ideas seems to b working. I've done 98% of the Plumbing. As for the cladding it's needs to now b sanded and painted. My 1 mad idea was that the doors hook on and there no hinges my...
So some progress on my dream tank. Glass arrived and polystyrene and the day came to build the tank. I replaced the front glass side glass and back glass and bracing. After the build I got the plumbing in place from trickle filter to go the sump. There going to be 2 down pipes with valves and 1...
Manifold designed and ready to be glued and put in place with my 1 return pump. Also all the plumbing has arrived. Now waiting for the glass next week to build the tank

Thanks 4age. The sump actually slides out the side quite easily. I will look into it thou. Trying to get get pricing to get stand sandblasted and galvanized.
On Sunday was D day to collect tank ,stand and sump. Nine of my friends and myself arrived all ready to move the tank and load it and bring it home. Only problem was a flight of stairs that two normal size can barely fit going down next to each other and Well most of my friends are built to take...
This was the tank I was given. The fish were donated to ushaka as they needed to go to a bigger retirement home. Tank size is 1900x700x700. Sump size is 1800x450x500. Stand size is 2010x1050x780.
So I'm going bigger once again. I was extremely lucky to be given a bigger system. The size of the tank was exactly what I've been dreaming to get. So the stars all aligned for me. I'm taking this slow and thinking of all different ideas and hopefully ideas from everyone experience here as this...
