My neighbour calls it the monstrosity.
What does he know.

Dimensions = 800cm x 800 cm x 500cm
the stand must be big enough to fit my old 140l tank underneath:

Now I must just restrain myself and give it a bit more time before doing 1st watertest...
Have to do some minor plumbing in the meantime.

Thanks man, down here we're forced to DIY, it's a way of life:)
The lights are just an Oddessea T5 fixture, combined with a DIY T8 fixture.

Lighting is not that NB since I don't keep corals. maybe some NPS later.

I'd have put some extra reinforcing on the stand. I could just be paranoid though because I made mine capable of holding a moderately sized elephant.

I cut some perspex this evening for the back and overflow.
Will try and get the plumbung done before the weekend. At the moment I'm just circulating some water through the sump area.

Added ATU, took the bottom tank out (cracked bottom...) and did watertest - no leaks so far, touch wood

Some stuff I've added:
Alcyonium fauri
Isozoanthus capensis
Corynactis annulata
Balanophyllia bonaespei
Eunicella papillosa
Leptogorgia palma

I have also added a small Marleyi butterfly that's busy working through my tubeworms... 4 demolished, 2 to go.
Also added a mermaids purse shark egg and hoping to have a hatched baby catshark in a few weeks time.
Holding thumbs:)
