Hi how do I delete my account and wipe off all my info and photos??
 
You can't and why you want to leave us?:eek::(:confused:
 
@carlosdeandrade this is a long painful story where some people can do stuff and other people threads get deleted and receives a infraction against them.I will most properly get banned after this post or it will be deleted.

Two Mods have taken alot of time explaining to you exactly why your for sale thread was deleted. For sale rules are there for a reason and have to be followed to protect the seller.
Your claims of people getting treated differently are unfounded. If you do have an issue with someone, please dont resort to this sort of behaviour and discuss it with that person or bring it to the attention of on of the Mods.
I will keep this thread up for a while but please can we rather continue discussing this via pm and telephonically as we have been doing.
 
I don't have a issue with anyone on MASA and now you are saying that my statement of other people getting treated differently is not true than what is?I had a for sale thread also new that I wanted to sell one and had a downloaded pic off it and it were just deleted without notice.Now another member does they same and what happens??

He gets a reply "please post a pic off the actual product"

Now I am confused??

big difference was that your thread looked like you were importing the items, looking for somebody to share the import shipping costs.
Wording is difficult to be able to judge what exactly is going on. But after a couple of threads in the beginning of the year where stuff were imported to be sold directly on the forum, we are looking at that not happening again.

This morning somebody else got his thread deleted bringing in LED units. So yes, you are not the only one. His thread looked very much like yours did. But he is importing. How would we know? So if it does look fishy, we delete it, and the truth will come out.

I normally leave for sale threads without pictures until the next morning. If you added a sale during the day, saying you will upload the pictures tonight. I do accept not everybody have photobucket at work.
 
@RiaanP so someone ASSUMED I was importing it and deleted it???

All I want out of this is that rules are rules what counts for one person counts for all.

And mods please before you just "assume" something and take action please make sure about the facts.I know being a mod isn't easy.But being fare can't be that difficult either.

I will leave this matter here now.

I am going to put this behind me.

If you would like to have a full breakdown of the reasonings behind your thread deletion please PM one of the mods.

The 2 threads in question have been discussed in detail and dealt with appropriatly. The rules are there to protect both the buyer and seller alike. We moderate the threads to protect the members from dodgy deals.

If your thread is legit, We appoligies and ask that you simply create a new thread with pictures of the product that you "own" and that is for sale. A buyer will come along in no time. How ever if you are looking for a partner for a group buy please start an appropriate thread outside the for sale section. Like the guys did with the rapid led group by.

I hope this clears the story up for everyone.

If anyone has a problem with a thread/forum member/etc, please notify us and we will sort it out.
Dont jump on the band wagon when someone complains.
 
Guys, please, read the rules in the For Sale forum, they are not there to piss you off, they are there to try and make the experience relatively safe and problem free for BOTH the buyer and the seller, I am honestly getting tired of all the issues creeping in from the sales on the forum, just this week the mods and I had to assist a member that was owed something like R3000 and had been battling for over 4 months to get their money from another member, it is precisely situations like these that we are trying to prevent. If YOU don't read the rules and then your thread gets deleted, don't shout at the mods, take 5 minutes to read the rules to see where you went wrong. We're all adults, Spitting your dummy out never helps, because of this thread now and all the stupid comments pissing people off, 3 people have been banned. :( We're supposed to be having fun, not fighting. I can assure you that ALL issues can be resolved without the need for these sorts of public, attention seeking threads, all they do is sour everybody's moods.

Having said that, I do see a couple of inconsistencies in how we (the mods) do things and I apologise for that, we will resolve this asap.
