Hi

My anemone is taking over my tank - looks healthy though- any suggestions. Constantly moving other corals to try to accomodate.

Man, i would give a lot to have such a nice nennie in my tank!

Watch the nennie and make sure it doesnt go into any pumps. Otherwise, just let it walk until it sits. But its more important to find WHY its walking. That looks like an RBTA to me, so make sure there is no direct flow on it. What's your lighting like?

Make it an anemone only tank. Very rare to see such a healthy anemone.
Not quite so rare as you think ;) 5 clones :tt2:

Stock lighting on RSM130. Nennie not walking just stretching. No direct flow on it. At night is shrinks to about half the size, and every 2/3 days it completely retracts and you can barely see any of it?

What is the stock lighting? I dont know what you get on an RSM130. I assume its just small T5s?
OK when you said taking over, I thought you meant walking.. If its growing too big, you either trade it out for a smaller one or make more space for it. Simple;)

I guess thats the problem with putting an anemone in a nano, I know I have the same problem.
Not much you can do about it other than getting rid of it.

@scubaninja - If or when you ever decide to sell one of your nennies, please let me know as I would like to buy one from you

Don't those Red Sea 130z just have two T5 tubes? Just a hunch but isn't that not enough lighting for it? Maybe its stretching itself out to try and maximize the amount of lighting

This is just one way how we justify to ourself and loved ones that we need another, bigger tank! Beautiful Anemone!

I cannot agree with you more...lol;)
