Mine often bail because of light shock, actually all the mushrooms in my tank is ones that bailed of one rock I placed in my tank (and took aout later).
I sometimes use a plastic, two prong cocktail pick to stick them to live-rock (put a bit of putty on the rock if you can't stick it into it. Feels a bit gruesome to stick the pick trough them.
They grow in such a way that they stick eventually is outside their boddy and you can remove it.
Other one is to put them in a small plastic cup in the tank with gravel/small rocks in to protect them form flow. They will eventually grab onto something, you can then glue the peace of rock they grab onto, to a larger rock. Time consuming, but less traumatic.
I have tried super glue, mixed with sand, but this is hit and miss, got about a 30% success rate.
Last on, and now kind of my default way, is to put a rock on top of them to stop them from floating around in the tank, they grab onto either the rock you put on top or the rock at the bottom and stay put.
