Hi guys, just started my tl550, just put in live rock and mixed salt, used stability, waiting to add livestock
 
test ammonia ,nitrites and nitrates. when ammonia peaks and then reduces nitrates peak and reduce then nitrates peak and reduce then finally you can start adding livestock. there are faster ways but not as good. ps leave lights off when cycling tank as above.
 
As mentioned above you need to wait for the tank to cycle so that the ammonia is gone, usually takes 6 weeks or so before you can add anything but depends on the rock you used and a few other things. How about a pic?;)
