These triggers will jump.
Found mine on the tank bracing yesterday morning.
Dead!
Must have happened early the previous evening, so unfortunately it took the porcelain express back to the Indian ocean.

Tank has a full canopy, would have hoped a fish landing on the bracing would rattle its way back into the water, but it was not too be.

Good excuse to build a bigger FOWLR system! and upgrade to a clown trigger

Funny you should mention the "trust" thing, my niger of late attacks my hand whenever I'm working in the tank or syphoning.....

I will trust and love and care for a chaetodontoplus Niger any day of the week and pay alot for is

love my guy too but so can't have him.....:tt2:

This is the one I want

Hmm mine did this a few times as well...but tended to land on the tank bracing and plop back into the tank...just luck I guess. He is no longer with me, but thats because he decided digging was his passion in life. :)

Yip they do that...I actually got rid of my sun corals because I couldnt feed them anymore without my hands getting taken out by the Niger.

No
It is a big angel found only in sea of china and Japan
There has not been a record of one ever in a aquarium

Hmmm...maybe thats because they so ugly! :tt2:

Why do you want what you can't have, Yuri? Surely this is a recipe for misery? ;)

I think it is the same as a Ferrari every man wants one but only a small amount of men can buy it
And it looks good like a ferrari ;)

My Niger was the same. Had an affinity with nori, then used my zoas as a starter before feasting on my sand sifting blenny.... So after 3 weeks of trying to trap him I sumped him. 3 days later he committed suicide by doing a dive out the water. The sump is 500 high and the water level 250.

Sorry to hear about niger, too many triggers are dying these days :( ,i have made screens above my tank as all fish can and will jump.
