Hi

I have a ton of DIY lighting components. I have had these lying around for a while for 2 banks of tanks I have wanted to setup but I have now changed my mind.

50x4ft reflectors - R115 each

They are ~60mm wide and increase the par by around 65% IIRC when I was playing around. They are brand new with the protective covering.

100 - Endcaps - R25 each


2x54w Ballasts - dunno maybe 20 of them - R150 each

Also ... just of the top of your head ... If I were to place individual 54W next to one another ... No gaps inbetween ... how many do you think I could squeeze in the arc? BTW there's no price on the end caps

I use 1 tube per reflector... 2 reflectors will be R230

I added end cap prices thanks
 
Sorry ... I'm out ... I see now I was speed reading .... thought I read they were 600mm instead of 60mm .... Thats why I asked how many I can squeeze in ....... Tank is 600 wide and 2.4M wide which means I'm going to need about 16 considering I might fit 8 across ... Now getting too expensive ....

Cool - yes reflectors get expensive but when you see the diffs they make then its quite cheap. I can not remember the exact readings but it was something like Par of 110 with no reflector and then par of 190 with. I did not conduct a propper test as it was just an interest thing for me not a scientific article for MASA
 
yes locals will get R80 off as I do not need to post...

Do you want to use 1 reflector per tube?
 
R80 off per reflector? I might as well drive to for that price ... Since I was needing like 16! Don't you think it would work out cheap if I got like Timefreight to pick up 16 of the reflectors ... They pretty light are they not?
