Clown Surgeon

Anybody got long term experience with these guys? What's your take on them? Thinking of adding this guy to my setup.

Current tangs:
1 x Regal
1 x Yellow
1 x Scopas

Other inmates:
1 x Clown Trigger
1 x Niger Trigger
2 x Osc Clowns
1 x cleaner wrasse
1 x CBB
1 x Pyjama Cardinal
1x Mandarin

Corals:
Whole lotta zoa's, Torch, Hammer, Xenia, GSP, Mushrooms, Candy Cane

DT 1500(L) x 600(W) x 650(H)

they can be aggressive and grow quite large, not for medium tanks etc...

A friend of mine had one...he had to eventually sump it, it was quite aggro...also they get pretty big, may have issues with it and the Regal tang long term.

dude IMO you have enough big fish already niger, clown, regal get very big.
The clown is a stunning fish but is crazy aggressive one of the Most aggressive fish out there. more often than not refered to as the spawn of satan.

I have one that I caught as a juvie - he has grown a bit but is half the size of my regal and yellow tang . He keeps everyfish away from his mountain of rock - i dont think i would put a big one in but if he is small then i would say yes.

No ways Les! A Sohal Tang is much prettier...I find clown surgeons quite ugly to be honest.

here was my one died about two weeks ago power when't out. i got him small had him for about 6 months he just eat a lot i think he was beautiful

I also have 1. At first he was very agro with the yellow tang.. but after a few days he was fine doing his own thing. Doesnt worry the other mates. But ya he does eat alot.

ya im still gonna get one in a month or two just wanna get a new inverter.
i had no problems with my clown surgeon, but i sure pose fish act differently in different environments
