Howzit,

Got a question about this skimmer....

Question is...
Would it be ok to connect the outlet to my overflow return via a T piece? (As image bellow - A)
and will the old skimmers 2000l/h pump work for the inlet?

If I understand you correctly then no you can't do that. The outlet from the skimmer needs to have no resistance on it and there is no way it will be able to push uphill like that, especially if the overflow from your tank is also coming down on it, you will more than likely have the skimmer running half in reverse with water being forced into the skimmer from the outlet.

ok, thanks for the advice, descided that if we got do mods may as well do it all... so started arranging the glass to build the new sump with all the correct ins and outs for the overflow and skimmer... should hopefully be done by humpday...(Anyways wanted to increase the dsb area)... oh well.... here we go again....
