really like them, couldnt get a good enough look for ID but I GUESS one of the spotted ray species as they are quite common in the trade. If so 25 cm would be a good guess

Yip Annoying , needs a predator specific setup, Huge bioload etc.

If you ever go to Italy, Go to Genova, to their aquarium. They got a stingray setup about double garage size, shallow, about 30 to 40cm and house about 30 stingrays in there. Tame, you can touch them. Beautiful, different species and colours. About dinner plate size.
lol... he was a tad big for my tank though!
haha yeah quite a few nice ones around durban...my cousin almost stepped on one when we were snorkelling out at vetchies....followed it around for a few minutes its just awesome how they "fly" around ....makes you wish you could too!
edit:just watched the video lol he does mention people step on em well my cousin was lucky i stopped him just as he was putting his foot down(on a rather large one though) with a few centimeters to spare...i can recall it in slow motion with me screaming NOOOOOOooooooooo...... lol just like in them movies!
