This was my first midweek holiday in many years, as well as the fact that it was as a Family. And we all enjoyed ourselves immensely. So nice not to have worried about the tank for once:

Kids doing what they do best, getting dirty. I enjoyed these as Alida did not allow them into the lodge with the bad smell :lol:

Check out Rudi at the back, caught a big pig and did not know what to do with it. Now I know what it means if they say... squeel like a pig:lol:

And these ones to show Ben I can still hold a rifle- we arrived after a group of Hunters spent the week there, needless to say that it was extremely difficult to come close to any Impala. I had to take shots at 200 meter plus distances. Still got good shots though:

LoL, Dean. Alida's ring is still lying in the safe. The one diamond fell out last year and I still have not fixed it. I actually forgot about it until you just mentioned it:p
 
Thanks guys, yes, we had an awesome time. Scared the living daylights out of the kids at night time (hiding in the bush and make like a lion/leopard etc every time they walked past...lol.)- I really enjoyed getting them back for the endless crap they gave me during the year. hIDING CRITTERS IN THEIR BEDS ETC...:lol:

But yes, it was well deserved. Jacques, it was for 06 days (wanted longer but was fully booked). We are going back month end for another couple of days, and then it is time to go back to my favorite spot- Kosibay:thumbup:
 
Looks like you had a great time. Glad you kept your clothes on this time (or at least didn't post the pics here)
 
LoL Rory, yeah, the clothes were just partially off.

Lanzo, I do not have any space for any more meat. Had to buy 02 more freezers 03 weeks ago, as the guy that was supposed to go halfies on a wildebeest, never did, so I am sitting with all the meat,and at the same time I received a huge lamb from the Free State, so had a serious freezer problem, as well as the Impalas, and the Biltong is packed in the one freezer, and the old freezer I "took" from Alida for my fish and bait- now there is no more moaning wrt to the smell of the fish in "her" freezer.
I gave the 06ft tank that had the Oscars and Malawi's in the garage away to a guy to make space for the freezers.
And I suppose if the meat's finished, I'll have more space for fish and bait....LoL
